This shirt was part of a small test run with a new printer from France. My Problem with it is that it’s not screen-printed — it’s DTF. With DTF printing, the design is first printed onto a special transfer film and then heat-pressed onto the shirt.
I specifically looked for a screen printer, but this guy decided to use DTF without even telling me. DTF prints have a slightly plasticky feel. The print itself is actually really bright, crisp and clean, but at the end of the day, it’s not screen printing. And since Fullmoon Shop has always been about traditional screen prints, these are getting sold off for next to nothing.
